Oil change in Tilburg – oil to specification, price by registration, incl. VAT
Engine oil and oil filter replaced (an oil service) with exactly the oil your engine requires: viscosity and manufacturer specification. What does an oil change cost at NRG?
The labour is € 40 including VAT. The oil and the oil filter come on top – how many litres and which oil depends on your engine. The calculator below shows the indicative price for your car before you book.
An oil change with us costs from € 86.57 including oil, oil filter and labour (for example a Suzuki Alto 68 pk (2009–)); the price for your car is shown by registration.
Which oil does your car get?
Not just any "5W-30". Every engine has a viscosity and a manufacturer specification, for example VW 504 00/507 00, BMW Longlife-04 or ACEA C3. That specification decides whether the oil suits your particulate filter, turbo and service interval. The calculator finds the right oil and quantity from your engine code.
What we do during an oil change
- Drain the old oil and refit the drain plug with a new washer.
- New oil filter – always included; an old filter contaminates fresh oil.
- Fill to the correct level with oil to the right specification.
- Reset the service interval and record the service.
- Quick check of fluids and leaks – if we find something, you hear about it first.
- Fault code readout – € 20, on request during the service.
How often should the oil be changed?
Follow the manufacturer interval: usually every 15,000 to 30,000 km or once a year, whichever comes first. If you mostly drive short trips in town, the oil wears faster and once a year is sensible even if the mileage is low. Long-life oil allows a longer interval, but only with oil approved for it.
Small or full service?
Oil and oil filter only is a small service. A full service adds the air filter, the cabin filter and (on diesels and some petrol engines) the fuel filter. Servicing without losing the manufacturer warranty
An oil change at an independent garage does not cost you the manufacturer warranty, as long as it follows the manufacturer's instructions and is recorded. We use oil and filters to the manufacturer specification and record the work.

Hybrid car?
A hybrid (HEV or PHEV) simply has engine oil and an oil filter; the specification differs per engine. The calculator recognises the combustion engine of your hybrid by registration. Only a fully electric car has no oil.

My car is older than 5 years. What does that mean for servicing?
Your car gets the same specification as at the dealer: the right oil and filters for your engine, the oil change labour is € 40 including VAT and the service is recorded.

We would rather not: we use oil to the manufacturer specification and stand behind it. If price is the question, check the calculator first.
Does the oil filter always have to be replaced?
Yes. An old filter is full of dirt and metal particles; fresh oil with an old filter is contaminated straight away.
My oil warning light is on. What now?
Stop as soon as it is safe and switch off the engine. A red oil light means low oil pressure. Check the level and contact us before driving on.
Do I lose the manufacturer warranty if I don't go to the dealer?
No, as long as the servicing follows the manufacturer's instructions and is recorded. That is what we do.
