Appointment data is kept for as long as necessary to provide the service, and after that for a maximum of one year for administrative purposes. At your request your data will be deleted sooner.
By default our website places only functional cookies and local storage necessary for the site to work (language choice and recording your cookie preference). If you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner, we additionally place analytics and marketing cookies via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 — see section 10. If you choose “Essential only”, this does not happen and no measurement takes place. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
On our contact section you can load a map showing our location by clicking on the map preview. Only after this deliberate click is Google Maps loaded; this establishes a connection with servers of Google LLC, during which your IP address is passed on to Google. On our website you can view our Google reviews by clicking the "Click to load reviews" button yourself. Only after this deliberate click is a script from the Elfsight service loaded, which retrieves and displays the reviews from our Google Business Profile. This establishes a connection with Elfsight's servers and, via Elfsight, indirectly with Google. This does not happen automatically when the page loads. The appointment form sends your data via WhatsApp (Meta). By submitting the form you agree that your data is forwarded via WhatsApp. For WhatsApp's privacy policy please see whatsapp.com.
On our website you can voluntarily enter a registration number to retrieve the expiry date of the APK (APK). Only after you click the button yourself is this registration number sent directly to the open data service of the RDW (opendata.rdw.nl) in order to retrieve the public vehicle data. NRG Automotive Service does not store or retain the registration number or the retrieved data. No cookies are placed for this purpose. If you do not use this feature, no connection with the RDW is made.
Our website uses Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to gain insight into visitor behaviour. This is only loaded after you have explicitly given consent via the cookie banner ("Accept" button). If you choose "Essential only", Google Analytics will not be loaded and no measurement takes place at all. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page — this reopens the cookie banner so you can choose again. You can also remove your preference by clearing this website's cookies and other site data in your browser settings.
After consent, Google Analytics automatically collects data such as: pages visited, time spent, device and browser type, and a truncated/anonymised IP address for an approximate location. Through Google Tag Manager, specific interactions may also be measured, such as clicking the phone or WhatsApp button or submitting the appointment form — also only after your consent. This data is processed by Google LLC, which may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area. Google relies on the European Commission's approved standard contractual clauses for this. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. The website uses HTTPS encryption. Fonts are loaded locally from our own server; no connection is made with external font services.
